We would like to present the following FIAPAS Manifesto 2015 to society and the public authorities to mark the World Deaf Day, and share an image of deaf people’s empowerment, which results from providing them with the necessary resources. An image that shows us that everyone’s effort is useful, that progress has been made, and is not intangible, but something that can – and should – be included in their everyday life to improve their quality of life and to exercise their rights in an environment that raises invisible barriers.
