We would like to present the following FIAPAS Manifesto 2008 to society and the public authorities to mark the World Deaf Day, in which it underlines that in Education there are no shortcuts: not all methodologies, not all resources are useful to ensure that deaf people have access to oral language and to the same opportunities for personal and professional development to which they are entitled as any other member of society.
