The winning children’s story in the 2017 “Libro Viajero” competition presented by a group of deaf boys and adolescents aged between 11 and 16 from the ASPRODESORDOS-Huelva Association, based on Miguel de Cervantes’ character Don Quixote and an appearance by the character El Cid, from the anonymous epic poem “El cantar del Mio Cid”.

This project has been running since 2013 thanks to funding obtained through the Call for proposals for the promotion of reading and Spanish arts by the Secretary of State for Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, with co-funding from the ONCE Foundation.
The participating associations hold Reading Workshops for deaf boys and adolescents (aged 5 to 16).
