“Assessment of communicative benefits and impact on the quality of cochlear implantation in patients over the age of 60" By Gloria Guerra Jiménez, representing the ORL Department (Hearing Loss Unit) of the Mother-Child Island Hospital Complex of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The inclusion of students with deafness in music classes in Infant and Primary Education, presented by Álvaro Lafuente Carrasco; doctoral thesis defended at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

This study assesses the inclusion process at 28 schools in Barcelona, while its conclusions likewise encourage the inclusion of students with deafness in the classroom, in this case also in a subject such as music from which, until not so long ago, these students were exempted, and which today, thanks to auditory prosthetic advances, can now be adapted to allow them to enjoy the subject on a par with their classmates.
