Hearing accessibility to information and communication for people living with deafness in any setting is a priority for FIAPAS. In this case, it is particularly concerned with those for older people whose vulnerability and dependence are accentuated when this sensory disability is present.
These settings include day centres and care homes for older people which, in accordance with the services they offer, must incorporate a care model that improves the quality of life of their users and/or residents living with deafness, promoting active and healthy ageing.
