The winning children’s story of the 2015 “El Libro Viajero” competition presented by a group of deaf boys aged 11 to 16 from the ARANSBUR-Burgos Association, based on the anonymous work “El Lazarillo de Tormes”.
A project to promote reading for deaf boys and adolescents.
This project has been running since 2015 thanks to funding obtained through the Call for proposals for the promotion of reading and Spanish arts by the Secretary of State for Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, with co-funding from the ONCE Foundation.
The participating associations hold Reading Workshops for deaf boys and adolescents (aged 5 to 16) who communicate in oral language.
