This poster indicates the importance of an early, comprehensive approach to caring for and supporting hearing loss children and their families. It also stresses the need for inter-professional coordination among all the areas involved.
FIAPAS, together with the Commission for the Early Detection of Hearing Loss-CODEPEH, has published this poster with illustrations to guide families on the route to take after deafness has been diagnosed, providing information on the necessary support resources and the different professionals involved in medical and prosthetic treatment, and in the educational and social inclusion process.
