In this Monograph, FIAPAS includes the research relating to the education, qualification and professional preparation of hearing-impaired children and young people presented at the Scientific Conference for Reflection held in April 2009 as part of the Collaboration Agreement signed with the Ministry of Education and with the funding of the ONCE Foundation.
The conclusions reached in the research presented at this conference, based on scientific and statistically proven evidence, must undoubtedly be taken into account when designing actions that, especially in education, help provide hearing loss people with the same opportunities for personal and professional development to which they are entitled as any other member of society.
