The winning children’s story from the 2017 “Libro Viajero” competition presented by a group of deaf boys aged 5 to 8 from the ASPAS-Valencia Association, based on an adaptation by Félix de Samaniego of the fable of the bear and the two friends.
A project to promote reading for deaf boys and adolescents.
This project has been running since 2013 thanks to funding obtained through the Call for proposals for the promotion of reading and Spanish arts by the Secretary of State for Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, with co-funding from the ONCE Foundation.
The participating associations hold Reading Workshops for deaf boys and adolescents (aged 5 to 16).
